Grape Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Vineyards “L’Altro” (translating “the other”) represents, since 1990 harvest, a younger and more immediate version of the more “serious” Piodilei. Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc are cultivated in different exposures in the Langhe region characterized by high elevation and cool climate.
Vinification Alcoholic fermentation starts in stainless steel tanks. “L’Altro” rests partially in French barriques – with new oak for one third – and partially in stainless steel tanks for a few months.
