Grape Timorasso

Vineyards Conceived from our Family’s dream to express in “white” the complexity, structure, restraint and longevity of Piedmont’s terroir, finally with a local grape variety, Timorasso.
From our Family-owned vineyards in Vho, in the village of Tortona, with a complete south exposure, 250 meters elevation and calcareous and clay soil.

Vinification After a partial and short maceration on the skins, alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks where Timorasso rests for 1 year. The extended bottle-ageing period of almost 2 years before release grants this wine its “Riserva” designation.

Notes
The complete south exposure and the calcareous-marly soil composition give this wine remarkable minerality, structure and longevity, perfectly balanced by aromatic complexity and expression thanks to the careful choice of early harvesting and the medium-to-large berry size.
Released for the first time with the 2023 vintage and produced in very limited quantities, our Derthona shows an exceptional ageing potential, enhancing its mineral and petrol notes over time.
